What is cloud hosting?
Many small business owners have heard the term ‘cloud hosting’ and loosely understand its meaning. The service is fairly new in the hosting world but the concept has been around for years. Think of it as a totally different concept compared to traditional hosting. In traditional shared hosting you are on a server with hundreds and sometimes thousands of other users or hosting accounts. When a user’s traffic or activity goes up it affects everyone else on that machine and ultimately the performance goes down and sometimes your website and email go down too until an administrator kicks the abuser off or the activity goes down.
